Scottland FC Linked With Orlando Pirates Winger Daniel Msendami as Loan Move Looms

By staff Reporter
Zimbabwe Warriors winger Daniel Msendami could be on the move again just months after joining South African champions Orlando Pirates, with newly promoted Premier Soccer League side Scottland reportedly interested in securing his services.

Reports from South Africa indicate that Pirates are preparing to review the player’s future as they continue reshaping their squad ahead of the new campaign, with a temporary loan move believed to be the preferred option.

Loan Exit Under Consideration
According to KickOff, discussions over Msendami’s next step are expected to form part of Orlando Pirates’ ongoing transfer plans before the start of the season.

Although the Zimbabwean only arrived at the Soweto club earlier this year from Marumo Gallants, competition for places limited his opportunities in an experienced and talent-packed squad.

A loan spell is seen as a way of giving the winger regular first-team football while allowing him to continue his development.

Scottland Among Interested Clubs
Scottland have emerged as one of the clubs reportedly monitoring the situation and could make a move if Pirates approve a loan deal.

The ambitious Zimbabwean side has been strengthening its squad ahead of the new season and views Msendami as a player capable of adding creativity and pace in attack.

No official agreement has been announced, but interest in the Warriors international is said to be growing.

A Journey Marked by Determination
Msendami’s rise to the top has been built on perseverance.

After coming through the development system at Highlanders without breaking into the senior team, he revived his career with Botswana’s Jwaneng Galaxy in 2022.

During his time there, he helped the club win back-to-back league championships and was named the 2024 Botswana FA Cup Player of the Tournament.

His impressive displays earned him a move to South Africa with Marumo Gallants before Orlando Pirates secured his signature, while he also established himself as an important member of Zimbabwe’s national team.

With discussions over his future expected soon, a loan switch could offer Msendami the opportunity to play regular football and continue rebuilding momentum in his promising career.
