53-year-old woman passes O level exams after 16 years of trying

HARARE- A 53-year-old woman has inspired many after finally passing her O-Level ZIMSEC Mathematics examination with a Grade C, bringing an extraordinary 16-year journey of perseverance, determination and resilience to a triumphant end.
Overcome with emotion, the woman broke into tears when she received the results, as the reality of her achievement sank in. For her, the Grade C represented far more than a mark on a certificate — it was the reward for years of refusing to give up despite repeated setbacks.
For 16 years, Mathematics remained an unfinished chapter in her educational journey. There were disappointments, challenges and moments when giving up may have seemed like the easiest option. Yet she continued to return to the books, determined to achieve what she had once set out to accomplish.
At 53, she finally did it.
