ZERA said the revised prices will remain in force for the next two weeks. Fuel retailers are permitted to charge lower prices depending on their operating costs and commercial considerations.
The reduction is the second fuel price cut announced by the regulator in less than a month.
According to ZERA, the adjustment reflects ongoing government efforts to cushion consumers from volatility in international fuel markets caused by geopolitical developments.
The authority reviews fuel prices every two weeks, taking into account international oil prices, exchange rate movements and other market factors before setting the maximum pump prices.
