A 45-year-old man from Chitungwiza has reported being sexually assaulted and robbed by three women after allegedly being lured into a vehicle while travelling from Harare to Chitungwiza on Sunday.

According to reports, the complainant boarded a blue Honda Fit in Harare's Central Business District, intending to travel home. The vehicle was reportedly occupied by a male driver and three female passengers.

During the journey, the victim alleges that the women began making unwanted sexual advances toward him. Police reports indicate that the women allegedly forced him into sexual activity while the vehicle was in motion.

The vehicle later stopped near the intersection of Seke Road and Delport Road, where the alleged assault continued. Investigators say evidence recovered at the scene forms part of the ongoing inquiry.

After the incident, the suspects allegedly stole the man's Samsung Galaxy cellphone and US$20 in cash before forcing him out of the vehicle. The vehicle then sped off in the direction of Chitungwiza.

The matter was reported to the police, and the complainant was referred to Chitungwiza Central Hospital for medical examination and further assessment.

Zimbabwe Republic Police Harare Province spokesperson, **Luckmore Chakanza**, confirmed that investigations are underway.

"We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident," said Inspector Chakanza.

He also urged members of the public to exercise caution when using unregistered commuter vehicles, commonly known as *mushikashika*, and to use authorised transport services whenever possible.

Police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist the investigation to come forward.

**Investigations continue.**
