First Lady Auxilia Mnangagwa Joins Mwazha Memorial

HARARE - First Lady Auxilia Mnangagwa has joined the Mwazha family in honouring the late Archbishop Paul Mwazha, whose remarkable life of faith, service and unity touched millions and strengthened Zimbabwe's spiritual heritage across generations.

Mnangagwa revealed her participation in the memorial through her official X account, noting that Mwazha's passing at the age of 107 marked the end of a divinely guided journey defined by resilience, compassion and unwavering dedication to uplifting communities. She said his example continues to inspire believers to walk in love, peace, humility and purposeful service.


"As we mourn, we also celebrate his extraordinary legacy, which strengthened families, promoted harmony, and deepened spiritual fellowship, leaving our nation enriched through his teachings that nurtured faith, discipline, and unity among us," Mnangagwa said.

She added that Mwazha's enduring example should continue guiding Zimbabweans toward peace, compassion and steadfast devotion, while his family and church uphold the values he lived, taught and lovingly shared.

Archbishop Mwazha, revered as a spiritual leader and founder of the African Apostolic Church, was widely respected for his role in promoting unity and discipline within the Christian community. His memorial has drawn tributes from across the country, reflecting his influence on both religious and national life.
