The Centre for Development Studies (CDS) is set to shine once again as it hosts its much-anticipated College Graduation Ceremony on 12 December 2025 in the vibrant city of Bulawayo.
The event will bring together graduates, families, lecturers, community partners, and academic leaders to celebrate the achievements of students who have successfully completed programmes in development studies, social sciences, public administration, community development, and related fields.
This year’s ceremony carries special significance as it marks another milestone in CDS’s commitment to empowering graduates with practical knowledge, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of sustainable development.
Distinguished guests, including policymakers, development practitioners, and local government representatives, are expected to attend. Keynote speakers will reflect on the evolving landscape of development work in Zimbabwe and the region, emphasising innovation, community-driven solutions, and ethical leadership.
Graduates will be honoured for their resilience, dedication, and academic excellence. Many of them completed their studies during a period marked by rapid changes in global development priorities, making their achievements even more commendable.
