Prophet Magaya Still in Remand Prison Despite Bail Approval
By Staff Reporter | November 12, 2025
Prophet Walter Magaya remains in remand prison despite reports that the High Court approved his bail application yesterday.
Reliable sources told Maitengwe Post that as of today, November 12, 2025, the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries leader had not yet been released, sparking confusion and speculation among his followers.
Conflicting reports have emerged regarding the delay in his release. Some insiders suggest that administrative procedures — including the signing of release papers — have yet to be completed. However, other reports circulating on social media and in some local outlets allege that there are plans to re-arrest the prophet immediately upon his release, with about 16 security officers reportedly on standby to pounce on him.
Authorities have not issued an official statement to clarify the situation or confirm whether a second arrest is being considered.
Prophet Magaya’s continued detention has drawn mixed reactions from the public, with his supporters calling for transparency and fairness in the legal process.
