BREAKING: Tobias Matonhodze receive 3 years, Faces Deportation After Sentence

A court has sentenced Tobias Matonhodze to a series of prison terms following his guilty plea, with the judge delivering a firm warning that incarceration was unavoidable.
This comes after he pleaded guilty to several charges earlier this month involving the Hyde Park shooting this month .
Matonhodze received 12 months’ imprisonment on count one, 12 months on count two, three years on count three, and a further 12 months on count four. The court ordered that all sentences run concurrently, meaning he will serve a total effective sentence of three years behind bars.
In a pointed remark during sentencing, the presiding judge told Matonhodze: “You have placed yourself at the mercy of the court by pleading guilty,” before adding, “you’re not going to escape jail today.”
Authorities have confirmed that Matonhodze will be deported upon completion of his prison term.
His co accused is yet to be sentenced .
Meanwhile, his co accused Chatunga Mugabe is expected to be sentenced later today
